First want to acknowledge and thank all of you for you advice and experience on this thread. I know this thread dates back to October 2019. As a novice my self I have gathered enough information to wire my layout. My layout is 8 x 12, three parallel tracks (subway), with Lionel Fastrack and will use DCS, Also will use star wiring method. My only question has to do with isolating the blocks. I thought I saw a response from Gilly, remove the center pin from the block section to be isolated. I know normal isolation would be plastic rail joiners, but not sure if that is available for Lionel Fast track. So to summarize, remove the center pin from the track at the block where the wires are dropped? Thank you all in advance !
