I'm astonished Lionel is offering the little-known, early 1940s City of Miami. It's very tempting. I have the MTH version from 2007 or so with the 18 inch cars.
I'm also amazed they are offering aluminum passenger cars again.

Does anyone know if the prototype original City of Miami cars were 85’ long? I thought they might have been 80’ long, which would be 20” in O scale.
