I have drilled out rivets holding Lionel’s plastic trucks to their plastic frames using a cordless drill in a plastic bag, under a trickle of cold water. This prevents the rivet from heating up and melting the truck bolster and plastic frame. Ask me how I know.🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
