My original notion for the Dudley Doright Maiden Rescue Accessory was to draft and apply for the patent myself, get the patent granted, then get an audience with Lionel Marketing and offer them the rights in exchange for some cool locomotives. I figured it would be a win - win. But alas, only in my dreams.......
