Update- First I tweaked the track plan. I eliminated the first curve out of the yard lead turnout. It is going to be to "treacherous" to back a 13 car consist into the lower line with multiple s curves and I have the room to build it out at an angle. Hey Nick, looks good so far. Question on your benchwork, I too have an already-carpeted-trainroom, do your benchwork legs rest on top of the carpet or did you cut holes to get the legs to rest on solid floor ? I was just wondering about layout stability if it's built upon cushy carpeting ?? Thks, Rich.
