I'll also stop by the hotel I'm staying at just to verify I have a room before coming back to check-in later in the afternoon. After the plumbing debacle a few years ago at the La Quinta taking 10 minutes to stop at the hotel on my way to fairgrounds is a price well worth paying. If problems, I'd much rather make other arrangements before the meet starts versus late in the afternoon before going to Quaker Steak and Lube.

I reserved a room there for next April since I did not make York this time around due to shingles ( not the ones you put on your house)!!

Might go to Allentown on Nov. 11th.
