Paul, I think you are quite right!! My brother-in-law who lives in Los Angeles is flying into Pittsburgh tomorrow for a visit. He usually rents a car when he comes. This time, he said the best price he could get was $700. He didn't say it, but I heard someone else recently say he reserved a car and there was no car available when he arrived. I'm told last year there were so few rentals, the rental companies sold a large portion for their fleets. So my wife and I are making the hour and a half trip to the airport tomorrow to pick him up and we will take him back Thursday.
