Reply to "Your Opinion on Weaver Freight cars"

That is true of older Weaver cars, but not the latest versions. The TOFC's, B&O wagontops, and Milwaukee Road ribside boxcars have add-on detail comparable to MTH Premier or the better Lionel products. Weaver stopped making plastic trucks a few years ago.All new production rolling stock has die-cast trucks and couplers. The old molds with little add-on detail are still in use, but the newer designs are completely different.
