These Little Porter tank engines were the cutting edge of light motive power from the late 1860"sto 1950 . There Light weight from 6 to 20 tons? allowed them to be transported , by horse and wagon, boat, barge and ship. They were built in every gauge imaginable and used all over the world. They were used to build railroads , bridges , dams highways city streets. In lumber yards quarries saw mills factories, brewery's and steel mills.
