Previous runs the containers were removable. I suspect they may be affixing the lower container [most likely if you turn the car over there are at least 2 screws holding the bottom container to the car] due to the fact that the cars are excessively wide and the scale 8' [2"] containers move around inside the well at least 3/16" wider than containers when operating the cars. Lionlman, Thanks for clarify that. When I enlarged the page I could see that the fixed container was describing the EOT car. Without enlarging the page the "<" button covered up that information on my tablet's screen. Makes perfect sense that the electronics would need to be in a fixed container. Thanks again for pointing that out.
I have a damaged coupler on my Lionel (6-27523) Trailer Train Husky Stack w/Containers. I am looking for help to fix this situation as the Lionel site is showing that the full replacement assembly 6207413050 is not available. (ref: https://www.lionelsupport.com/...fb10415c122f51392278 ) Any help to solve this problem will be appreciated.
Hello Everyone; I know this is just about impossible but I'm looking for a Railking CP Husky Stack Car 30-76393 from the 2000 RTR catalog, new or used. The containers in this set are Canadian Tire. I do not know if this set was ever made in the Mth scale cars with the Canadian Tire containers. I would be interested in these as well. I am also looking for a Weaver; Spruce Falls boxcar. I believe it was available in 2 road numbers. I will buy 1 or both, new or used. Thanks for your help. Merry...
Lionel Husky-Stacks Three road numbers per road name, plus a fourth with an EOT on the rear coupler Stacks Regularly $129.99 - sale Priced at $114.96 Stacks with EOT regularly $149.95 - Sale Priced at $129.96 Mix and match - these are terrific! In most cases, I only have 2 or 3 left of each Watch for a video of these running on our layout - what should we use to pull them? Here's a link to all of them on our website
Thanks for the information. I agree, they look the same, but the lionel support site is showing them as unavailable too. I am starting to think that there is something wrong with the Lionel support web site. Ref https://www.lionelsupport.com/...fb10415c122f51392278
Are there any Club Layouts in southern California that are aimed at Lionel LEGACY / Operating Accessories? I'd like to join one, but I am not really looking for hi-rail, as I want to run my Culvert an TTUX/Husky Stack trains. This area seems ripe for...
Hi, Southern CA is a big place. You didn't say where in SOCAl. The best club that I know is the San Diego 3-rail club in Balboa Park. I have forgotten their name. There is also a club in San Pedro. Someone on the forum can give you more information. Joe
I am up in Burbank, but willing to drive as far as OC or Pasadena. The San Pedro layout is awesome, I have visited it. But.. it's High Rail, they do not have any operating accesories. So while I love what they have done, it's not what I am looking for.
Hi Timmy, The San Diego 3-Railers is also hi-rail. It does have operating accessories that can be run by people pushing a button located on the side of the layout. It is well worth a visit to San Diego. Here is the website: http://www.sd3r.org/ I live in the SF Bay Area and I don't know of any layouts in your area that have accessories. I think your best bet to find a club or a private layout in your area would be to contact someone in your local TCA group. Perhaps the staff at The Train...
I asked the Train Shack and they recommended the San Pedro guys. I will definitely check out the San Diego layout when I am down that way for SDCC. Anything worth seeing up in SF? I will be up that way in 2 weeks.
I would suggest coming by the TTOS Southern Pacific Division. Here is the website link: http://ttos-sp.com/ The dates and times are there along with we will be there this coming Sunday 3/25/2012 setting up the All Aboard Fastrackers modules. Several of us run Legacy and lots of accessories on this and other layouts. Check us out and come on by! Yes, a shameless plug but I live farther away and I do run a small layout that is toy train style with Legacy and operating accessories and this...
Hi Timmy, I am out in Simi Valley, not too far from you. I was in Pasadena today but did not have time to visit the Whistle Stop, Train Shack or Roundhouse on the way home. I think O gauge is pretty scarce except for what is created in our homes. Clubs here are hard, I think cause the time commitment. Work and family and then throw in year round sports for the kids and I don't have much time left except late at night. -Ted
we have people from all over the county that belong to our club. come on down on a tuesday (not the first tuesday of the month) and I will let you have a behind the scenes tour. just mention my handle.
i'm bringing this topic back to life, i live in Big Bear Lake (lucky me, we have that manhunt going on for that cop killer 1 mile from the house), and i was wondering are there any O gauge clubs in redlands or reiverside calif>?
Not in the I.E. anywhere. Our closest options are San Diego or San Pedro....I know, that's not close, because I'm in Moreno Valley and that's our only choices. That's why my dad and I are bulding a 26x17 layout at his house. Though it's not club size, it's very local
