Bruk, you have done a great service to all Lionel owners. Being an authorized Lionel Tech (#10140) I want to thank you for your hard work. I suggest every Lionel owner download these documents. Thank you, Marty
Bruk has done some great work on this. He is also a certified Lionel Tech. Until many of us can get back to Lionel school, we will all use this great work. John, on my best day I could not put out the information he has done. If anyone else could have done it, they would have. I always appreciate good work and he nailed it. People in the hobby appreciate the great work you have done with Lionel products. We live at a good time in the hobby with some great products.
Not only is this information extremely helpful, but the detail in your diagrams is truly impressive!! You are a powerpoint master, no doubt! Did you generate all the objects yourself? I was very impressed with the detail on your LED and Heating Elements
Bruk, words can not convey my appreciation for your efforts here, these documents are GREAT! You can bet I download them as soon as I see them, it's so key to have some documentation when you dig into these things! You have certainly earned this several times over!
I await the release eagerly, they have been a big help to me, and I really appreciate all the work you put into these! Is the previously mentioned B6 documentation available with these new updates as well?
An update to you all who have downloaded this or seeing this for the first time. I will be posting a newly updated version of these diagrams soon, I've had a lot of one and one time with these boards recently. I've learned a few new things about them so naturally I had to make a couple corrections to the drawings and the general notes.
If I’m not mistakened, the Legacy PRR B6 0-6-0 that came out a couple years ago was equipped with an RCMC command board not a BEMC. So it has the Flyweel with Odyssey Encoder. In the last update (Jan 2017 revision) Diagram 2 shows the wiring for a teathered engine. BEMC was only used in the recent teahthered 0-8-0.
BRUK, Awesome work! I designed these boards(and the RCMC), so if you have questions I may be able to remember the connections and answer them if not proprietary in nature, although I don't have access to the design files any longer. Just email me. BTW: The "CR" pin on the BEMC switches is VPP (your label is PRG on the RCDR), and used in programming the board(s). jon
Bruk, I'm a newbie to this train stuff. It looks like quite a few train buffs are appreciative of your efforts. I'm here to tell you I sure appreciate your efforts also. Even though I don't have any of these particular engines, I can appreciate the help they will provide to others at some point in time. Absolutely Awesome drawings!!!! It's too bad that Lionel don't produce these same high quality detailed drawings for their products so you have more time to do more fun things. I'm still...
And I eagerly await that update Bruk. Once again I thank you for all the work you've put into these documents, they are invaluable! Since Lionel doesn't see fit to supply any of this, not to mention no training classes for the last N years, we get the information any way we can.
UPDATED: 08/22/2019 Its finally here, the BEMC & RCDR Wiring Diagrams! For those who do not know, The BEMC is another version of LEGACY electronics that are used in some O scale applications currently, such as the LEGACY LionMaster Class A and Tethered 0-8-0 and Heisler. But mainly found in the latest American Flyer LEGACY equipped models. Also included are diagrams for the RCDR board. More info in the guide. These diagrams have a lot of little notes and information that you might find...
Hi Bruk, Really appreciate you taking the time to do all this work and I am sure many of us will refer to your diagrams. However I did not get the attachment to download the files so can you please send them again or to my email address email@example.com . Thanks,
