I have a command switch which appears to be trying to be thrown when cars go though the switch, I notice the lantern moves slightly and hear a slight sound like it is trying to be thrown.  I also notice if I get very close I can see one of the wheels make a slight spark at the same time in what I believe is called the "frog foot" part of the switch.  This just started any ideas what could cause this.  The switch is never fully thrown from the wheels crossing just sounds like it is about to.  I have cleaned the track and used compressed air to ensure nothing is stuck in the mechanism.  Is there a short in the switch and the wheels are completing the circuit?  It does fire properly with legacy remote and no derailing issues with cars going through the switch in either position

Thanks in advance for any help.
