I have my dads 3462 mik car and a 6019 track for unload and couple. It works for my log car it unloads, all the milk car does is uncouple coiled couplers. The coil works in car i have bypass to be sure and have cleaned and lubed.  Do i need different track control for milk car to unload. The shoes are getting power the couplers work. Any help

Unless your track is really filthy, the shoes shouldn't need cleaning very often. The copper spring you really need to be careful. It doesn't take much to get that spring out of kilter. The only time the shoe comes in contact is while it is riding over the control rails. The rest of the time it 'just hangs there'.

This the 3462 milk car mike. Thank you for your help. I took the car apart and the wires were cracked back to coil rewired coil and cleaned shoes and shoe contact and rewired all that also got the 6019 track section going also. Thanks to this form i have serched and view for a while for info to help me get dad's train up piece by piece. I do have a good electrical. Some electronics and mechanical background i researched well before i started thanks to you and this site.
