I like the MTH Premier Line Conrail Bicentennial GG-1 as my favorite.

Nice locomotive, but it's not a RailKing.
Although I like the later RK Challengers and Big Boys with slightly longer tender that gives better proportions, my fave is the MTH RK NYC P47 Pacific 30-1603-1. I had been looking for a model of the NYC K5 Pacific with a Waterfeed Heater and found this.

Tiffany, I have 4 RK Milwaukee Road FP45s, 3 of which are painted in the Union Pacific’s livery and one that is in Milwaukee Road’s orange and black livery. They are the only RailKing engines that I have, so I guess they’re my favorite RailKing engines.

Would Greg Houser mind posting his track plan and the dimensions of his layout? It looked very interesting.
Thanks, great thread.
Railking is the Goldilocks of the O scale diesel world. They get it just right. Not as expensive as Premier or Legacy, but better-detailed and proportioned than Williams, Lionchief or other "traditional" engines.
Plus they've offered quite a few Boston and Maine engines, and they do a good job with the colors.
I can't really pick a favorite from this bunch...and I like my New Haven, New York Central, and CP Rail RS3s too.

This Railking Proto 1 Pennsy K4 steamer is one of my favorites. Today, it runs well, but it no longer has sounds and smoke. Maybe someday I will hire someone to replace its boards and convert it to Proto 3.
