Here is my copy of the 14th street subway station. Since this station is hidden under an enclosed box, it is only viewable with a mini small wireless cam which is broadcast to a tv in the train room.

A photo of one end of my Grand Central subway station at 42nd street. This station has two wireless cams (one viewing the subway track and the platform edge and the other of the whole station platform) The station can also be viewed without the cam views. Both cam photos not shown here.

N5CJonny,

What did you use to make the tile walls and floor?

Hi Ron,

Sorry, I did not see your question asked till just now. Since I did not build the Grand Central platform myself I can not tell you exactly what material was used to make it. It seems like a heavy slightly flexible plastic like material. The complete platform seems to be made with the same type material, which was made around 2007 by a company by the name of Crescent Locomotive works.

The 14th street station I built myself and was the first platform I ever attempted to make. The platform base was made of wood with Plastruct beams drilled into the platform. The tile on the wall was also made by Plastruct. The beams against the tile wall are wood strips as are the beams in the ceiling areas.
