Is the front truck suppose to pivot on both the link to truck and link to loco. Right now the truck and link are tight just pivoting on back. Which is why it wont navagate 42 curve's. I'm assuming the stanchions and upper bright work are brass what would u use to polish out. This was one came from Arno's estate. Just needs tender and cars and missing handrail

That lead truck will need to pivot at 2 points. On both end of the connecting bar - at the truck and at the loco frame. Make sure it can clear under the two steam chests too.

per the 1967 catalog .....72" diameter minimum for the 4-6-0 ....42" for the 4-4-0
I've got a 3 car set. If interested, my e-mail is in my profile.

CAREY: THANKS for sharing that nice video!
FYI: Most engines run and look better on 72" or larger diameter curves.
I dont have the room yet for 72 but am looking at getting 57 for 5 rail. Thx's Jim I didnt know if the front pivot point was suppose to be loose. Dont suppose anyone has spotted a lonely tender in need of a train
