There is also the Greenberg series of books Volumes 1-3 that are hardbound reprints of the Lionel catalogs Volume 1 is 1902-1922, Volume II is 1923-1932 and Volume III is 1933-1942.  If you type in "Greenberg's lionel catalogues" over on  the bay you can find any number for sale - however, they are expensive.

Robert,

Holy Mackerel !   You weren't kidding about the prices !

Looks like the LCCA has the rights now to the HSL digital library.  That's great news!  I was fortunate enough to purchase the whole collection on CD before Lionel pulled the plug on the sale in 2014.  These are a great resource and worth the membership alone.

YES!

LCCA members have digital on-line access to all Lionel catalogs from 1900 through 2005

Many years ago when I re-entered the hobby I was wandering through a hobby shop in St. Louis and stumbled upon newly delivered cases of the six volume Greenberg catalog series.  I remember looking through them thinking how great they were!  At that point in time I was more interested in spending money on actual trains so I passed on the books.  Several years later when I decided I was now very interested in the catalogs the books were no longer available except on the secondary market … and they were $200 each!  I started thinking it would be great if there was a more reasonably priced alternative, and that become the impetus for the HSL Lionel Catalog Digital Archive project.

The HSL Lionel Catalog Digital Archive products contain not only the general consumer catalogs but also many additional accessory catalogs and other items.  Plus you can search the archive (catalogs) for engines and sets (names and numbers).  The archive is much more than just catalogs.  You can read the full details of these products on the HSL web-site as they were originally offered:  http://www.hslinc.com/dahome/dalionelhome.html .

And, YES, this is now available in the LCCA digital library (as shown above).  You can have access to all of this great information for as little as $25/year (for the electronic membership).  And the HSL Lionel Catalog Archive is just one portion of the HSL digital archive offerings now available through the LCCA.  Not to mention all the rest of the normal great benefits of being a member of the LCCA!  I could not be more pleased that these products have found a permanent home on the LCCA’s web-site!

You can sign up today and start viewing all of the archives immediately!  Here's the link:   https://www.lionelcollectors.org/join-our-club/
