Contact P&D Hobbies. They have a lot of drive train parts. BTW, and picture of the issue is always a good thing. Let's them know exactly what they are dealing with. I threw them a real curve ball with my last repair, and the pictures helped a lot.

You might need to order a whole new upper shaft. If I recall the original Weaver gear (which is technically a sprocket) had a "shoulder" on it. Also there were at least two sizes: The original 8-tooth for realistic speeds, and the 12-tooth for zoom-zoom three-railers who complained that their locos were too slow. Talk with Pat at P&D he'll hook you up!
