NS6770FAN, the trucks turned out looking very nice! Good Job!

Andy , you got yourself some nice looking shelves there! Room for more cars!

Thanks for not asking me to go to your YT channel to see something of your lay out--I much prefer to simply scroll through what folks post here.

No worries, I’m the opposite I enjoy YouTube links and post.  Youtube on TV is great , my dog enjoys it too.

Thanks everyone!!

Video eats data and everyone doesn't have unlimited data.  I skip a lot of video for that reason. Some folk prefer not to use anything google related as well.  Plus there is something to be said for a nice photo too.

Youtube is a great study tool!  I did that last night.   Watched two old films on steam in the 40s and 50s.  Ive seen many times folks say steam trains only puff black if the crew didn't know what they are doing.   HMMMM  Most of the crews must have been rookies!  Because those monsters sure did blow black!  LOTS OF BLACK! LOL

Andy, Your shelves look great!  They make for a nice look under the layout and keep cars handy for when you want to switch what you are running.

Tom, that meet of the Conrail and B&O looks great!  Isn't it neat when you see this coming your way and can adjust speed a bit to treat the camera?

Mike, I'm looking forward to seeing what you did on the control panel.

I did a little work on a couple of adjustments to my SCARM track plan that DoubleDAZ Dave did most of the work for me last year.  I'm getting the hang of it some more, but will need some help getting it right.  I'll be posting them in my layout planning topic later once I have written up the description of what I'm did with it.

Mark, thank you so much for mentioning me. Yea, it was a total surprise and I only planned for the Conrail. Actually I never adjusted the speeds. Just luck of the moment. Luckily had my Legacy Controller to do the horns. But anyway, thank you so much for commenting!!

Tom, Oh sorry I misunderstood when you said you had the controller you meant that allowed you to hit the horns!  Excellent opportunity!!

Mike, That man lift will look great next to a tall building.  Those are great allowing for work to be done quicker and safer than the old days when ladders and even scaffolding was needed for any kind of job.  Sometimes it took longer to get the ladders in place and put away than it did to do the actual work.  I certainly can attest to that.

@briansilvermustang really like the MP GP

Thanks you everyone on the shelves.

@MikeG there is 4 screws that hold them in. My dad went through the stuff behind the shelves and got rid of items. 90% of the stuff back there is stuff we never use but don’t want to throw out.

The right end (in pics ) is deeper and we can get behind them if needed. There’s minimum wiring in that section as well.

So today worked on my friends layout and more stuff was delivered for my layout too.

Tom, That is some exciting action.  Even a steam first fan has to like that pair racing towards the viewer.

Larry, Thank you!!  Wow, that is some fantastic tour of the layout the folks in the great looking theater car are getting!!  What is the price for their fare?

I did a little tweaking on my track plan.  I taught myself something new on SCARM today.  I still need to get all my comments written up before posting.

Finally getting a idea on our layout plan. The main table is 18ft long and 6.5 wide. The main line runs the edge of it and the side table.  Still deciding on building placement.  The elevator and future Budweiser plant are set. The inner line may be elevated to. The outer line is O72 and the inner is O54. Their will also be a lift section on the main, you can see the track floating for now. Nick T.

@John Rowlen- the theater car looks great. You have quite a population explosion going on in your neck of the woods.

@Kon112H- nice shelves. Looks like you and Dad are sailing along.

@leapinlarry- another beautiful CSX car. Love some different views of your layout too.

@Pat Kn- nice loco. Gear drives are cool.

@briansilvermustang- the never ending collection. How goes the demolition?

@Mark Boyce- SCARM is a neat toy. I keep finding new tricks with it too.

@mike g.- we will patiently wait to see your next update.

@gandydancer1950  - nice buildings. Are they printed on card stock or kits?

@t8afao- looks like that's going to be a nice layout. Keep the progress photos coming.

@Wrawroacx - great videos. Keep 'em coming.

I think I caught up and mentioned everyone. If I missed anyone please keep up the good work.

ME? Shut down the Christmas Division of the RSJ&B yesterday. The Polar Express is heading to the backshops for storage till next season.
I finally got my PRR FM H10-44 on the rails. Very nice engine. I need to get a battery for the PS system, but otherwise it runs great.

Bob, nice little engine! Welcome back from the Christmas world to the real train world! LOL Well as real as toy trains go!

Brian, like I told Lee, better there then here! I hope you and Izzy had a great time out in the snow! But I know you have a lot of work to do so I hope it melts soon for your sake! LOL

Hi Guys, here are the pictures I promised of my control panel so far. I know its lame, but I have to wait for the paint to dry before I add power and turn out switches, along with pinstriping !20190113_08214220190113_08215120190113_105756                                                                 I hope to have the switches and pinstriping installed later today when everything is dry. Then I can mount it to the layour near my airport!
