164 log loader track spacing | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have searched here and Googled this, but can’t find consistent information.

I am working on replacing my grandfather’s 164 log loader and have a bit of a blank space in the layout where I can put it. I see in my 1947 catalog the suggested track layout for this accessory, but that particular layout won’t work in my space. Since there are no measurements listed, can someone tell me the dimension needed either between the inside rails or center to center to make the load loader work correctly? Thanks!

I have mine set at 14.5" center rail to center rail and the spacing works out great

I got my track at 15 inches center rail to center rail. I suggest you put in on the layout and test operation before you fasten down the track.
