I recently purchased a reproduction 164 log loader. The loading function works totally fine. The unloading function doesn't work. The arms will either not move at all, move halfway, or rarely go all the way down but immediately go right back up. The motor makes noise and I can see motion but it doesn't want to work. Anyone know what might cause this or how I can fix it?

Well, since the conveyor works, we will assume you have 14 volts. Also, be sure the connections are correct. I have not had mine upside down in a while but between lights etc. Check the terminals.

Here is a long term memory suggestion. I seem to remember that after a move a few years ago, mine was doing the same thing.  Try gently pulling down instead of pushing up. That seemed to reposition an internal mechanism.
