Has anyone fixed the light on the power switch of the 180watt bricks. The power supply works, just no light illumination on the switch?

Is it the new version that just came out?
It does seem odd that the light wouldn't work, I thought everything was LED these days.

It's a little detailed, and a little rambling at the same time, but should answer your question.

It is an LED but the design does not promote longevity. I investigated this some time ago and arrived at this circuit which has worked since. I found the switch on eBay and wired it in as shown here.
The original circuit does not protect the LED from the reverse polarity of the input 120 VAC. I should say that only one of my bricks went dark. The other three are still stock and still lighted.
