An engine featured is a UP diesel.

Worth watching for all train fans.

My biggest gripe on train sims was always the dated graphics.

This will be solved with the new Game Engine; unfortunately it is still about a year away for hitting the market place.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I am still running and enjoying the dated Microsoft Train Simulator, albeit with its dated graphics.  The original Train Simulator still has the advantage over all others in the availability of content.  It is sort of like comparing HO or O to Z Gauge.  More is available in HO or O than Z.  It will be essential for any new train simulators to establish a paradigm that:

1. Allows for player interaction via the Internet.

2. Is available for iPad and other tablet devices.

3. Encourages development of add on components by third parties.

4. Maintains a feedback system to the user and competition levels with multiple players.

5. Permits sharing of photos and videos from the simulation.

6. Allows users to customize the simulation experience with consists and activities.

The new version looks amazing if they can deliver. I think I'll back the project.

My son ran this European loco around Horseshoe curve the other day

Excellent screen shot; thank you for the picture.  I will also back the project.
