I have two diesel upgrade kits from 2017. The email from MTH says to add a 270 Ohm resistor to the red LED (if using in conjunction with the green LEDs).
I'm looking on Amazon and wondering is it worth it to:
A: Buy 100+ piece pack of the 270 Ohm 1/4W 5% resistors
B: Buy a large quantity of multiple value resistors (with maybe a 25 qty of 270 Ohm)
They prices are pretty similar, so either way works. My reason for asking is if in the future I plan on using LEDs throughout my layout, does it make more sense for multiple values or is the 270 Ohm common to use with LEDs?
