Can anyone verify that Lionel actually produced this caboose? I have checked Lionel's Web site with 0 results returned for a search. I have checked a few dealers and I have not been able to verify that it actually exists. The 29738 Caboose is listed in the 2010 Volume 2 catalog on Page 60 along with the GP-7 Wabash and the 3662 Milk Car both Transparent.

I moved this to the proper forum. This caboose is not a traditional piece rather it is a modern production item.
The 6-29738 Transparent Bay Window Caboose was cancelled back in 2010. I'm not sure an official reason was ever published.
However... there apparently were some samples produced (a half dozen?) to test the concept.
