When the US dollar was weak compared to the Euro the MTH European engines were a bargain for those folks paying in Euros. Now that the dollar is strong and the Euro relatively weak those engines are more expensive. Plus, the European economies are struggling. German banks offer NEGATIVE interest rates. You have to pay them to hold your money. That's why our treasury bills and notes yield so little. Demand for our positive interest bonds is great so the yields are lower than they should be. The European engines are little jewels. Incredible detailing and craftsmanship. The best MTH ever made. But, the cost now would be way higher to buyers in Europe.
