I traded with GunrunnerJohn earlier this year for these 64' Woodsided cars. Unfortunately, my N&W H3 Consolidation would not behave itself on the club layout. Brought it home for a test run. No problems. Big relief; I'd hate to have to send a engine with so few miles off for repair.

This is the bridge over my attic stairway. 9' 8 1/2" from the railhead to the stair tread. If there is a wreck, it will be spectacular!

Peter, It is always good to see the River City group photographs and videos!  I don't recall the mountain scene with the tunnels before.  Is that new?  Is the yard inside a closed oval of modules, or do visitors have close access to that also?  The yard looks like it would make things much more interesting than just ovals of track.  Always great work!!

Here are a few more:

This young lady received a Pennsy Lionchief set with some freight cars for Christmas....and, did a great job running it on the track with other consists....in fact, much better than Gilly and I who caused a few major crashes!

We had our annual February breakfast meeting where we reviewed 2017, elected new officers and planned our agenda. It is always a breakfast meeting at my where I try to "poison" everyone with my pancakes.

My wife always saves the day with her v=creations made the night before:

Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Walnut Coffee Cake

Raspberry Biscuits

Tater Tot, Cheese, Sausage & Egg Casserole.

Newly Past President Bill brought OJ & Bacon and Gilly fired up some sausage patties.

A good breakfast helps us prepare for those long cross country runs....Here are some pics....

Latest update......

We had a few issues with clearances for larger equipment.  Ken (Kanawha) is making a clearance car to use as we re-design some of our line-side and overhead scenery.

Since I have some unique engines (in relation to other group members), here I am testing clearances.
