i had some company yesterday,and they asked what is the oldest train you have,,,,its this 380,,,its a repaint,,but its on of my favorite prewar loco's,,i wish mike would make a new version,,,so today I got it off the shelf and with some lub and power runs like a bat,,,,,enjoyIMGP0628IMGP0626

I've got a guy just like that.  Your paint is shinier.  Looks nicer than mine which was restored as well and has a flatter finish.  I got it with 4 cars, the 320 baggage and 322 observation have 500 series trucks on them, the two 319 coaches have 200s.  They have the wood doors and Mojave trim.  I like them, they have some heft and all window trim is intact.  Got the whole set for a real good price, no complaints.  Need to get all 200 series wheels on the cars, and in the future do a repaint for a project.  The 380 only has one roller, so the pickup needs to be replaced.  It runs great as is, but getting this set squared away is in the plans for next year.  Enjoy your 380!
