Folks,

We are busy finishing the Milwaukee Road Hiawatha Cars.  They will be finished in December and arrive in January. Some customers have approached me and suggested that we announce the EP-3 Electrics. They pulled the Hiawatha, so... reserve one, so we can make these beasts. Need only 120 reservations to make them.

Hi Scott:

You certainly offer lots of great locomotives and I have purchased many including 4 FL9s,1 New York Central T Motor, 2 Union Pacific FP7s, 1 Union Pacific F7, 1 Canadian Pacific FP7,1 Union Pacific SD7, and Burlington E5A and E5B  models. There is one locomotive model that I do not believe anyone has made as far a I know. It is the Baldwin passenger shark nose diesel. Now I know that only the Pennsylvania Railroad purchased them so would it be possible if you would consider having them made? I would purchase 2 of them for sure. I hope that you read this or maybe I should just phone you.

Thank you,

Ed Gerson (I am a close friend of your friend in Harrison, NY from whom I have purchased most of your products).

Weaver made the passenger shark nose diesels (BP20's).  Joe Hayter offered a second run of them and did not get sufficient reservations to do the second run. Scott is currently in China and will be until about November 1st.

Surprised me, given the preponderance of Foamers out there.

BTW..bought an A-B-A set in G^d's proper DGLE, all powered. Why? I dunno....

At about 60 plus inches long for an A-B-A set in O scale many folks might have run out of room even if they had the funds. They make attractive looking units.

Something that would just end up gathering dust on the mantle over the fireplace,

I belong to a club with room for them to roam, that's why.

Some guys buy MTH Centipedes, you know....

Has a deadline for placing reservation been announced for the Milwaukee EP-3?  This will be my first 3Rd Rail engine and would like a little more information on the timing and sequence of how the reservation/purchase process works.  I know that most of the actual dates are not available due to too many outside factors.

Simple. You place your reservation, then sit back and start saving, or negotiate refinancing your home, until the models arrives. Scott sends out a notice in advance, so you can also negotiate the sale of your first-born.

Scott also allows a layaway on models you've reserved. I've taken advantage, since my first-born are all too old.

You can also back out. Once.
