I'm looking forward to a formal announcement. Naturally in Union Pacific. In anticipation I've picked up a back-issue volume from the Union Pacific Historical Society on the Alco PA-1 locomotives of the Union Pacific for reference. It has roster, general characteristics, prototype drawings, and roster shots of the UP PA fleet. Figured it would be a great resource for accuracy.
I wonder if someone else had the same idea. Thanks to the bidding of some other UP nut-head I ended up paying $10 more than I should have on the site that shall not be named.
Outside of the GGD Harriman cars I've put other NEW acquisitions on hold until I get more info on these PAs.

I would go for a set of Cotton Belt (Daylight Paint w/ silver roofs). If my memory is correct I think the numbers were 300 & 301

I would buy a pair of Cotton Belt PAs with silver roofs. They would look great with any SP passenger cars.
The Silver/Aspen Gold Rio Grande PA/PB would look great with the Atlas California Zephyr cars!
