GP-7s? I could go with a pair of dynamo brake (EDIT: dynamic brake) equipped Zebra-striped Santa Fe machines or a red and black Rock Island machine or two.

OK, now there is a new one!  Just what is "dynamo brake equipped"?

Kind of like Fred Flinstone - engineer sticks both legs out of the cab and plants them against the ground.

Dynamo braking occurs when an I phone thinks it spells better than you do.

The Atlas GP7/9   had either/or available.  Note the center hood in the plastic bag, lower right.  The dynamic brake blister, hood center, was a way of dissipating heat, when the traction motors were used in a braking mode. Braking energy (heat) has to be dissipated in some manner.    Minor error

Interesting to note that my Prius has regenerative braking. Brake energy is put back in the battery, until the battery is full.  51 miles per gallon all the time.

I'd probably be in for a GP7 or GP9 in CNW passenger configuration -- torpedo tubes, split fuel/water tank, and the boiler bubble at the end of the long hood.

Noticed they dropped the ACL and Southern (green) from the GP-7 list, but still have a Southern (black) from the GP-9 list. Not sure what else has been cancelled.

Sorry to hear this. I had both reserved and was really looking forward to the 2 rail ACL and green Southern. I am still disappointed about the ACL F3 cancellation.
