I am changing out a TMCC Railsounds board for an older ERR Sound Commander board to get the correct sounds for an RS15.  The TMCC board is the type below with 1 motherboard and 3 daughter boards (see below).  My question is that I don't know which pin carries the serial signal to the sound board.  Can anyone help or provide a diagram?  I couldn't find one online.

Thanks in advance.

G / Marty - thanks for your replies.

Since I will be taking out the existing sound board, can one of you help me identify Pin 10?  There are no indicators on either the pins (motherboard) or on the Sound Board which is Pin 1.  I have blown up the sound board/motherboard pins below, so if Pin 1 can be identified, that would be great!

Again, thanks in advance.

I don't think so Allan!   The AC ground isn't the DC ground for the hall effect sensor, at least not in all cases.  I believe pin-19 to pin-21 is the correct connection.  Pin 19, AC GND To Hall Effect Sensor is NOT connected to pins 3 & 4!  Pretty sure you'll release the magic smoke if you connect it your way.

John - thanks for setting me straight! 😀

Excellent advice. I now can access all of the messages. The station announcements and the conductor are pretty easy to hear when the train is standing still, but the dining car announcements are a challenge to hear when the engine is highballing down the pike, but I can fiddle with the speaker.

More of the story is to come, but thanks to gunrunner for how to hook things up.
