Has anyone replaced the 2 rubber cones inside the pylon that control the pitch of the airplane?

They are pressed on to a single shaft with pressed in bearings at either end....I dont know how they would come out.  The 2 cones are the black parts in the photo.

There are no repro parts so if it could be disassembled I would have to fab my own new rubber cones.

Has anyone done this repair?

Thanks

Ken

Does anyone have a spare shaft with cones on it? I'm thinking that maybe they can be printed using TPU material, which is rubbery, like some shock resistant phone cases.

However, I do not want to rip mine or anyone else's apart, so I'm looking for that shaft out of someones junk parts bin. I'll buy it, or whatever. I've had maybe four or five of these over the years, and every one has the same issue.

MTH uses the same design, but does not sell just that part.

Seems like a lot of us would like to resolve this issue.
