Ertl 2594 1:43 Scale 1948 Diamond T Tractor Cab Unit

This is an interesting 1:43 scale diecast model of a vintage 1948 Diamond Tractor Cab Unit. It could be used in an O scale model railroad "steam era" scene. An Ertl 1950s era "trailer" unit will be used with this cab unit.

The Diamond T Motor Car Company was founded in Chicago in 1905. From its beginnings manufacturing touring cars, the company later became known for its trucks. By 1967, as a subsidiary of White Motor Company, it was merged with Reo Motor Company to become Diamond Reo Trucks, Inc.
