My scratch-built and modified projects. Some projects were fairly simple and straight forward and others required major work and or repaints.

You're far too modest with your postings Daniel .

The link to all of the various modeling you've done (another post) kept me occupied for about 2 hours the other day, as not too many folks detail autos that deeply, or that well. And again later, another 2.5 hours while one of the 20 year olds living here poured over it and we talked about various things that we both liked. I'd seen some of it before, but there's enough there for it to all seem like new, each visit. The "reversed build" that occurs from the date/time sorting, actually makes it just that much more interesting.

If you remember and have a minute, drop me an email when you update, or get it all into one spot, or "whatever"....please

(that Orc boats sail's raw simplicity is still my fav., lol )

Thank you Daniel

Daniel,

Fantastic Conversions. I especially love the Train Master, it looks beautiful!

Also, a possible idea for your Ork train (I assume you are a fan of Warhammer). What if you made a boxcar with a little sound system that played Ork-ie quotes? The top three that come to mind:
'Waaaaggghhhh"    "Red makes da train go faster"     "Orkz iz da best"

Your modeling skills are outstanding!

Bryce

I thank all the folks that have viewed my efforts and made comments, you are all too kind.

I have re-built 6153 and back-dated her to more closely resemble her working days before she was used for a few fan trips. She now also is a better fit with the newly added 6035 and some of the newer diesels that I have running.             IMG_2857IMG_2875

Nice job on 6153! I tried the 9 deg. angle logo on my 2-8-2 tender, but somehow the lines of the tender just made it look cock-eyed. I just went with the straight logo. I wonder if CN had the same thoughts, since somes is straight and somes is squint...

Thanks for the comments. I just banged the logo on there by eye. I previously used the round logo but earlier pics show the wafer so I changed it. I don't know if there was a method to their madness, maybe I'll ask on a facebook group why the differences.

Daniel, I'm glad you posted the RS3 elsewhere.  It led me to this post.  You've done some really great work.  I've seen the PRR Hammerhead RS3 but I've never seen a Hammerhead Train Master.  I'm staring at a Williams Great Northern Train Master that may be a candidate.  Simple Orange paint scheme with a green roof.  Just what I need, another project.

I also like the elephant ears on  6153.  I've got a MTH RK NYC Mohawk that I've thought about adding them too.  Did 6153 come with them?  Did you add them?  Are they homemade?

I kind of wish I had made the deflectors a tad longer, someday I may make a new pair. Thank you for your interest. Cheers, Dan.

Latest off the bench, Canadian Locomotive Company (Fairbanks-Morse) CFA/B freight units cobbled together from 2-rail Rivarossi and some 3-rail Alco parts. Some dimensions were changed and many details, some printed, were added. Several months work but I think worth it. I updated with a pic of the A unit with the vents over the windshield and the antenna(?) added.  https://youtu.be/ay_lrW3XGbQIMG_4027
