Hello everyone! Set up in our new house in CT. Pictures below show the 6.5' x 8' footprint I have to work with in our unfinished basement for this year's Christmas layout. I need to tear this down into a 4'x8' storage location when I am not working on it as this space doubles as a play area and work out area.
I'm looking for simple track plan suggestions for this footprint. I don't plan to go vertical this year and need to leave space for trees, houses, etc. I have 2 manual switches (1 RH/1 LH), a 90 degree intersection, an acute/oblique angle X-intersection, and a log/mail/etc. dump along with the track pictured in the previous layout picture from MD.
NOTE: not all slats inserted. Test of strength of gap only as proof of conept before tear down.
