614 C&O

I like the 614 as well, it would a great addition to the Imperial Line.

Its good to know that I am not alone in this.

I have wondered for some time why this hasn't already happened.  A friend of mine has been waiting for MTH to come out with one for sometime either Imperial of Premier.  The Santa Fe Northern has been advertised a few times.  Looks to me all MTH need to do is change the tender and load 614 sounds I'm sure it would be a winner.

And move the headlight.

If it is done I'd like to see various versions of 614. Original colors, 614-T, and hopefully a greenbrier express (because that's the only way we'd ever see that running)

Well unfortunately Bell Captain the Greenbrier express has been cancelled so we won't see 614 under steam anytime some.

It would be nice to have a model of that train though - the concept drawings of the cars have a beautiful paint scheme.

I was just thinking yesterday I'd like to see a model of the orginal C&O greenbriers - circa 1930 before the headlight was lowered. Sunset models did a fantastic job of modeling these after the headlight was lowered but I'd like to see a before version too.

The Greenbrier Express concept was canceled more than a year ago, and all the passenger equipment sold off, as well as the GE diesels that were going to haul the train. CSX would not have allowed the 614 to operate on their lines anyway.

I'm well aware what the greenbrier express was and or failed to be. While I'd rather have the real 614 back in black I'd love to own a model of 614 in that paint job.

Two-railers had these available in kit form in the early 1950s.  For true C&O fans I apologize for the logo on the tender.

Not a RK loco, but have we all forgotten that MTH has made a Premier C&O Greenbrier 614?

I have an old (PS1) one. I do not know if it was re-released with PS2 or not. 

I also have the original Premier Greenbrier.  Converted to PS2 now.  Sweet engine.

Well I would like it to be in the railking line.The real locomotive is powerful and a lot of people like this locomotive.I am glad to hear from you guys.Maybe if enough people get together maybe we can hint to mike.To do the locomotive 614.

I have the 614 Premier and also had it converted to PS2.  It is probably my largest steamer and strongest puller.  Remember MTH often reissues old Premiers as Railking Imperial.  I agree this would be a good candidate.
