I have read several topics about running engines on smaller curves than the manufacturers' recommendations. I was wondering about MTH 64' Woodsided Passenger cars. They are rated for 0-42. I was wondering if anyone has success running on 0-36 or less?

I'm sure they look and run better on O-54 and larger, but I'm looking at running on a small loop. I like the detail look of these to run with my MTH Railking 19th Cen. Ten Wheelers.

I look forward to any input.

Don't have 0-36 curves but they will run on the 0-42 beautifully. 0-31 is not an option. 0-42 is really the bare minimum these cars will do and, I'd argue that 0-42 is even pushing it.

They are truly beautiful cars! I had a Long Island set (sold it, regretted it) and now have the custom Strasburg Rail Road "retro green" set, done by Nicholas Smith.
