Dave Olson    not to start a feud here but is it possible for you to use mega steam fluid as a comparison for those of us that use it instead of the lionel smoke fluid?

mega huh? What? What's that?

Unfortunately I won't have access to our AC-9 samples until the end of the month. I also don't have any JT to use.

I may be in the minority but I really don't like having duplicates in sound, especially on these high dollar locos. I own almost every big Lionel steamer produced and part of what is so appealing to me besides the actual model itself and the awesome feature upgrades you all are doing is the unique sound sets. Being able to tell which locomotive it is from the sound of the whistle is pretty cool. I immediately thought Legacy 3751 when I heard it which was disappointing. I realize it may be more correct than the deeper tone, but I have to imagine there is more than one "correct" whistle that could be used that isn't exactly the same as a previous release.

You fellas are doing some great work over there regardless, I just want to know it's the AC9 when I hear it scream

What? "more than one 'correct' whistle"??????  How could THAT be?

Hi everyone!

Considering the positive feedback I received after posting information on the 65' Gondola and LC+ 726 Berk, I'm going to post more information/images on products as time permits.

Where was the information on the LC+ 726 Berk? I missed it, and would be interested to look at it.

Is delivery still expected at the end of September?  I have no. 3809 already and have no. 3800 on order.  I bought 3809 on the secondary market in mint condition and it sure is an impressive beast.  I do not get attracted to the cab forward design so the AC-9 is my only example of Southern Pacific articulated locomotives.

My dealer says early Sept. Dave can you confirm? They on the water yet?

If you ask with @Dave Olson he gets an alert.

Will the 2017 Light Mikados be given the same treatment? (Not whistle smoke-wise, but prototype whistle sound-wise?)

Yes, different whistles based on road name. The 587 will be extra great since we had that recording and are using it for the first time.

Yes, they were put on the boat about a week ago along with the Moguls. Will likely get here last week of Sept.

Just picked up up a new AC9 from the train shack, Burbank, California $1,999.00 + tax. Last one. What a monster, I like it better than my new Niagara that I picked up last month, although it is a pretty cool machine. I have not ran it on my layout yet, building a new turnout so it can always stay on the track, I only tested it on the train shack track, o so cool. I picked up a new mth challanger as well I'll run them at the same time, I couldn't wait for lionels new vision line challanger, but I pre ordered one got to have it, should arrive around October 2019 can't wait. I'm new at this teck stuff Ill video it and try to post my video keep watching. I'm very impressed with the train shack in burbank California 40 year family business, great knowledgeable staff, in-house repairs, reasonably priced. They back everything, do returns no questions. If your out of state, call they ship. I know this is a good place I'm in their 3-4 times a week, train junkie
