Hello friends:

I do love the new app for DCS Wi-Fi, however I have been trying to run a few conventional engines and run into a consistent problem which I hope you all can help me with. I can run conventional from my smart phone (Samsung Android) but when the screen goes dark for energy saving it also loses the WIU. Message is "WIU not available." Then I have to relocate the Variable track before I can get control again. This does not happen with DCS command operation of Ps2 or Ps3. Is anyone else experiencing this? If there is an easy solution please share it here. Thanks in advance!

Here are a few videos I posted in a different thread about problems when using the Variable outputs and with the app losing connection:

H1000,

I haven't noticed any of those issues using iOS.

Barry,

I'm going to test with some different models and brands of phone tonight to see if this could be something with just my particular tablets.

Below are some of the videos that I took of testing on a different device (Older Motorola Phone with Android 4.2?)

I managed to discover a new problem while shooting this video, When I press the track configuration icon, the variable voltage jumped from 0 to MAX.

My original issue was with using the "-" key to drop the voltage to 0 when you configure a track for a specific minimum voltage.

I have a couple more videos to post with other issues.

This is what happens when I switch away from the App and come back to it:
