Sorry for the delay in replying.
Total estimated run time - 5 hours. We don't have a permanent layout so it was on display far more than the track. While on display, it was dusted regularly.
Time owned - Just under 3 years. Purchased new.
Last run in June of this year. Yes, everything works perfectly.
Lionel warranty period has indeed expired.
