I recently acquired a 752A, 3 Button control, Coaling Tower which seems to almost work. I can raise and lower the bucket, and I can close the bucket, by depressing the red button 1/2 way as in the instructions.
The problem I am having is the bucket does not open when I release the red button when the bucket has entered the tower. According to the instructions the bucket is just supposed to open when I release the red button.
Can anyone tell me what is supposed to cause the bucket to open? Is it gravity or is releasing the red button supposed to energize the solenoid coil to open the bucket.
