Williams passenger silhouettes in color?

I have some that I purchased at York 3-4 years ago.  Haven't put them in yet but never thought about making copies.  Thanks for the idea.

I have this set in Lackawanna.  They only did the color silhouettes for a few years at most in both the small cars and also in the 20" scale cars.  Compared to the standard black and white ones, I find these quite attractive.  I suspect copies would be the best way to replicate these as they are not common.  I wouldn't go as far to say rare, but still something interesting and different.

Thanks. They look nice in photos how do they look running in the dark?

You ask a great question.  I don't know!  I'll have to clear my main and see.  I picked up the cars at auction and never ran them on my layout.  I even have a K-Line Trainmaster to pull them with.  Give me a few days.

These cars were made during the Williams /Samhongsa era of the late 1980's  to 1991 when Williams did a "blowout sale" and ****ed off a lot of collector's and people who pre-ordered. This destroyed the Samhongsa relationship who then turned to Weaver models to import the Samhongsa product line. The Heavyweight cars became MTH's premiere line of cars- abeit updated with interiors and now led lighting.
