Got this cleared off the workbench so I can continue my scenery work this winter. Lionel certainly set the Kadee mounts up correctly. They provided the screws to mount the adapters but I had to provide my own 2mm hardware to mount the actual couplers. I filled in the pilot with 1/16” styrene. I was thinking about building out the bulkhead around the draft gear since Lionel even set the coupler boxes out from the end right but decided to bail. Here’s some quick shots now that I did a quick weathering on it. Also shot a crawl vid at roll speed. I wish they would have put 4 rollers on it since it found a couple switches it didn’t like at roll speed.

Wonderful rendition of this unit!  I know there are several videos and tutorials out there on the weathering process, but I would love to see how you weather your engines and rolling stock.

Another fantastic job Norm!  Curious, what is the roller spacing on this and does it have traction tires? Have an MTH A-B-B-A set that would die on a 30 degree crossing because the insulated rail on the next straight coupled with the insulated rails of the crossing left the truck "ungrounded". Might loss of common be your issue as well?
