I'm beginning to think that I should stop posting photos of American Flyer equipment.  I seem to be creating competition for myself. 

Nah!  What fun would that be.  There is plenty of it out there for everyone.  You just have to be patient in your search.  (But I am glad I have my examples already.)

is the af o 561 would that be considered a 3/16 engine, the prewar sorta s gauge size ?

Thanks George, and to everyone who has complimented the collection.  My goal is not to make anyone jealous, but to share it with other collectors who enjoy the beauty, whimsy, history, and fun of tinplate trains.  I enjoy sharing the toys I have collected and the information that I have gathered. This is a great hobby with so many aspects.  Its wonderful to see how many different ways that people are involved with tinplate.  And its great to have a place to come and chat with others who understand this infatuation.

Now I have to go find something to post on the thread for the new week.
