In the same vein, I took this little layout to the Spree that my club hosted a few years ago.  It was a big hit with folks of all ages, especially those under 4' tall.   The buttons in the fascia operate the accessories.  It now resides in my basement for my grandson to operate.  It has legs that are self storing and all the things on the top fit in two storage tubs for transport.  The layout (3.5' x 5') fits in my old minivan.  BTW, the Manoil coupes are resin copies I made.

Of course, generally I didn't leave it unattended.  But when I wasn't there, an eleven year old boy showed such interest, and his dad was at the show as an exhibitor, I put him "in charge".  He was great at it and had a fun time.  Kids love to see the flashing lights, hear the whistle and operate the log and barrel loader, as well as the baggage smasher.
