Decided to add some faux smoke, a Delorean ”back to the future” car docking to top off its flux capacitor and a simulated nuclear meltdown recording chip and some lights.....Also, I added an  Amazon Alexa into the layout, while I was at it, to turn the layout on and off!   Alexa make a great kill switch.....LMK what you think?

Atomic plants just beg for whimsical mods - nice take on yours!

The real generating stations are rather boring looking. The older plants are little more sci-fi looking.

There is enough realism in this model keeping a small footprint. The fuel storage pools (lighted part on top of model) are actually next to the reactor.

I don't know about giving your layout to SKY -NET (alexa-google). You'll lose control of it on judgment day.

Pete,

Very nice job on this project. It looks GOOD.

On another note who makes the Sky Ride I saw passing in the background? Nice touch.

Thanks for the compliment.   The ski lift I purchased while on a ski trip in Switzerland.  The company that sells it is Jaegerndorfer....http://www.jaegerndorfer-usa.com/images/JC_2017-2018_Season.pdf

How funny😊. That is one of the drawbacks with Alexa.....you have to keep her away from the TV!  However I do like the convenience in my trainroom to turn on or off my complete layout and all accessories with my voice.....especially when I am not near my transformers or if I have to hurry upstairs.

Pete Is that the HO or G version of the Jagerdorfer cable lift you used?

That is the G version.  I felt the HO version was a bit undersized.  In my opinion the G version fits in well with my layout.  As a side note, the manufacturer claims that their lifts can be utilized outdoors.
