This fantasy train can be enjoyed even if you are not a beer drinker! I am, but my beer is Pilsner Urquell. ☺

As for a non-stop commercial it would NOT make me buy Coors Light... it's one of the best light beers around but the genius at Coors is really their marketing.
Making this into an alien/Area 51 train sounds intriguing... who's got pictures or video??? With Halloween and spooky stuff around the corner it's a perfect opportunity.

This was the only picture I could find but I know he had a video as well. I cannot remember the details but he replaced the contents of the car and it was really cool to watch the doors come open to reveal the contents. I want to say they were aliens floating in chambers or something. This was done by a very talented member Keith, who has done a lot of customizations to the Polar Express cars as well.
I've always thought that the Lionel Batman Phantom would be a cool one to mod for an Alien theme as well.
I remember the Onion clip, pretty funny.
The only thing I'm going to change is for some reason the tail car has white lights while all the other reefers have blue lights. I have plenty of blue LED's, so I'm going to correct that little oversight. I may also do something a little fancier for the tail light as well.
I never noticed the white LEDs, I’ll have to check mine out. It’s been quite a while since I ran her

Yea, Yea, that is "WHY" folks hauled it back east by the boat load before it was more widely distributed!

That would be true for ANY light beer!

That may have been only for some of them, I can't say. I've only seen two in actual operation, both of those tail cars had white LED lighting. Simple to change, just haven't gotten around to it.

Well... hauling it back East (Coors, not necessarily Coors Light) spurred a movie that grossed $300M worldwide starring dearly departed Burt Reynolds! Likely a boon to Coors, who I don't think had anything to do with it other than allow the name to be used.
The late, GREAT and under appreciated Burt Reynolds will be missed! From Deliverance to Boogey Nights, he deserved an Oscar! And he always did it HIS way!
And the beer on that famous run was NOT Coors Light, but the real COORS!
I must say, I did bring a lot of Coors back East when I was young.. and maybe stupid.. LOL..
I confess I drank my share of bootleg Coors till I found Pilsner Urquell! LOL!
TOWDOG, thanks for the kind words.
I just popped in quick and saw this thread. I’m the one that made my Coors bullet into an UFO/alien recovery train for the Wright-Patterson AFB and Area 51 railway.
The only video I have is of one car. Car wasn’t finished yet, but the aliens were in...
Here’s some pics

Now that was awesome! I suppose you could change the PFAs if you wish, right, if you so desire. Right? To get something more "alien-like" sounds.

John, I just bought this set at the Greenburg Train Show in Chantilly, VA. 30-1433-1. Is this a 3v or 8v system? I'm going to pull the battery and replace it with a SuperCap substitute as you do. Thanks.
The Coors Silver Bullet Train has a 3V board.
Thanks
