Everyone looks so young!  In the front row, between Fred Dole and Jim Barrett, is Eddie G in his mid 70s.  Where is Jim's other hand??  And way in back is twenty-something Peter C.  Think the Lady in Red was one of the magazine's principals - Myron Biggar's daughter Barbara as I recall.

Happy Friday!!!
Worked a little on the ballast this week. Also started construction of the farm scene. My daughter Giovanna is obsessed with cows, so I decided to expand the farm a bit so we can add more cows! Moved the coal loader towards the front of the layout too. Working on moving a few other things around this week as well as I try to arrange things to give better photo angles. Going to be traveling in PA for the next 2 weeks, so progress will be held up a bit.

Christopher;

Great photos, as always. Could you tell me what steamer is in the pics??? It looks like my 736 that I purchased long ago, in a galaxy far, far away (sometimes called Madison Hardware). The headlight casing on mine also is that funky gray color... I thought that was a mistake.

Thanks.

And how the get-together has grown

I don't think I've missed one yet--in fact I'm in the back row with the cap

Too bad we don't have a larger photo to make the faces more recognizable. In the picture above I'm sitting in front of you wearing the white shirt.

Below, here are a couple of pictures I took during York in April 2001. Most long time Forumites will recognize these characters and where we are. You can't see me because I'm taking the pictures....HB - Ken

Thanks for the kind words, Bill.......but I was more like 47 or 48.......

My son (8 or 9 in this picture) just turned 26 and just got engaged.....where did the tine go?

Peter

OK, the names of the folks in this photo at the fabulous Tony Lash Layout that used to be in Capitol Heights MD are starting from the left:

Tony's son, I believe his name is Duke. If someone has a better answer, let me know.

Next I believe is Carl who used have a "Ho Ho Ho" in his signature line on the Forum. Haven't seen a post from him for a long time. He is from somewhere in the Northern Va, DC/ MD, Balto area. That narrows it down to about 12 million people to choose from! I think he was active in the National Capital Trackers club also. Can't remember his forum name.

Next is Tony.

Last is Bear Owen, forum name "Bearlead". He is still a forum member but hasn't posted for about two years. Bear is a retired airlines pilot from Colorado. He was an early member of the forum and a frequent poster at that time.

The photo was taken on Saturday, ‎April ‎28, ‎2001 several hours after the York TCA meet.P4280026
