MTH S Scale ???
I have two for sale -- left hand, lightly used, complete in OB. http://www.precisionflyerrepai..._d_horn_2018_v31.pdf
I am amused that MTH calls a turnout with a 19" radius curved diverging leg a #3. I wonder if we will ever see the 27"R turnouts. Were it my layout and I wanted sectional track I would use the FasTrack turnouts with the MTH sectional track. Just cut off the plastic connectors and then control the turnouts direct from the Legacy system. Would be easy to add detailing to the plastic roadbed.
I have a lot of the SHS turnouts and they are the least reliable I have. The internal brass wipers fail with little use. I have had to repair almost all of them. Hopefully the MTH versions have improved contacts.

Actually, SHS called them a #3. MTH is just using the same description...

There were five releases of SHS TO's with marked improvement each time. The latter the production the better. Don and Robin were saints about allow you to send in earlier ones to be upgraded or replaced with newer ones for N/C. I sent all of mine 3-4 times as a batch until they were updated to the latest/last release. I very much liked their S-Trax system. Sold all of my SHS TO's already (all were of the "D" series). Now have two MTH units left. Go to this NASG web page site for a chronological description of SHS TO's (thanks to Don T. once again).
Thanks for the link, I had not seen that. I am pretty sure all my turnouts are A's. the one I pictured above is an A.
Related to the gauge issue identified in the writeup, I have correctly re-gauged all my Lionel AF rolling stock wheels. From the factory they are about 1/10" too narrow. It was a lot of work that should not be necessary. SHS, MTH and AM have all the wheel sets correctly gauged.
